What to expect from our blog
Our blog is not about blindly sharing other sources. It's about what we create and put some thinking into things that got our attention. We are designers, so expect beauty and creativity. We also are a family so, once in a while, expect some domestic happenings. :)

Why sometimes you should fight for lost causes

This was a recent blitz discussion I had on Facebook with a friend.

So, to be short on “why sometimes you should fight for lost causes?”:

  • first, you feel that is the right thing to do. It defines you, is who you are or you like being more like that cause;
  • second, you tell the sympathisers they are not alone, their battle is not absurd and by approving them you actually give them more willpower. And that’s huge. You also, “speak” to opponents with this behaviour.

(The subject of discussion was Monica Macovei, a candidate for Romanian presidency. Yes, she lost the election a few weeks ago. From the very beginning she had very little chances of winning. With all that, I donated half of a month salary for her campaign and I actively participated by making this page, offering people the possibility to show their sympathy by modifying their profile pictures on social networks with those badges. )
