What to expect from our blog
Our blog is not about blindly sharing other sources. It's about what we create and put some thinking into things that got our attention. We are designers, so expect beauty and creativity. We also are a family so, once in a while, expect some domestic happenings. :)

The good thing about public writing

We all have our tomorrows like ‘I’ll start learning about coding” or

“Monday I’ll have my last cigar” or anything that sounds like an engagement or self promise.

Well, you might consider making your decision public in a blog post, Facebook status or whatever because it is much more likely to keep your word and here are the classical steps:

1 – you tell this to the world and world is a cold Judge

2 – you cannot corrupt this Judge and

3 – you don’t want to disappoint The Judge because

4 – inconsequent behaviour is punished with mistrust and

5 – you cannot afford mistrust: it means isolation

6 – isolation leads to weakness

7 – weakness is a magnet for pain

8 – and I think, in general, pain is bad.

or

When you praise yourself for a good behaviour

1 – the world (The Judge) is often labelling you and

2 – this is why is expecting you to repeat this behaviour and

3 – you don’t want to disappoint The Judge because

4 – inconsequent behaviour is punished with mistrust and

5 – you cannot afford mistrust: it means isolation

6 – isolation leads to weakness

7 – weakness is a magnet for pain

8 – therefore you repeat the behaviour until

9 – you became your behaviour and you do it naturally so

10 – you might be an expert after years, maybe preaching that behaviour

11 – seasoned with “after reasoning” which will excuse your crucial, immature start decision

12 – but the good thing is that experts die happy :)

I was that close to write a novel based on those thoughts but lucky you, I have work to do.

And to force the end at a design level, I might say “this is a way to design your character”.

PS: I’ll come up later with an article for those who don’t give a buck about The Judge. :)
